This week in instagrams

This week I:
1. wore the coziest lounge pants
2. Took pictures of a friend at work
3. Watched as the shop was taken over by aluminum structures
4. Dyed my hair pastel blue
5. Had a post bar donut binge with my bestie
6. Am almost finished with an amazing book
7. And waited for almost 2 hours for a tow truck to come.

It's been busy this week and its only Wednesday.

Swans and fall weather

The weather is finally starting to cool off. I've been enjoying napping during all of the recent grey days.

Tonight my friend and I are going to see swans play. I was supposed to go to see them 2 years ago but my plans fell through. I'm so excited for the second opportunity.

late night movie: buffalo '66

i've been so exhausted lately that the only thing i want to do is lay on the couch. fortunately for me, laying on the couch watching movies is one of my favorite activities.

last night's movie was recommended to me by one of my friends. it was a "i can't believe you haven't seen this" recommendation. i'm not going to lie, buffalo '66 is now one of my favorite cute, romantic movies (i realize that my definition of a sweet, romantic movie is probably a little different from some). either way, it's still a good movie.

happy friday! i'm hoping to get an internet connection set up this coming week so i can post more and actually post some photos.

late night movie: submarine

after sipping moroccan hot tea at the cafe across the street with one of my friends we went back to my place for a lovely late night movie. since i wasn't in the mood for horror, we opted for something a little lighter. thus, submarine. it didn't disappoint. lots of comical romantic parts as well as high school drama.

the movie was adapted from the novel by Joe Dunthorne. i'm looking forward to reading the book to see how it compares to the movie.

3 day weekend

I had a very restful 3 day holiday. I did some shopping for clothes and movies, went to a cookout at my parents' house, drank margaritas by the pool, dressed up for dinner, tried something new and had a lazy day. It was lovely, but too short.
