she believed it was a place where she would finally belong...
...a place where she would be happy and find others like her.

*when i was small i used to want to be an acrobat in the circus. i used to practice on the trapeze in my backyard and make believe that the crack in the driveway was a tight rope suspended high above the crowds. however, my favorite thing about the idea of being in the circus was getting to travel to far away places (also, i thought the costumes were beautiful too.)

thank you. yes, i knew lots of kids that were afraid to go to the circus because of the clowns and the animals lol
