*i am officially on holiday! it feels so great to take a break and relax. i plan on taking lots of pictures over the long weekend and enjoying time with my family.

*a few notes about this picture: 1. the hair is not how i would have liked it to turn out. i didn't anticipate it being that dark and it almost seems like a veil rather than hair, but oh well. 2. i found this lovely quote (yes, i subscribe to one of those "quote of the day" email things) and thought it would be fun to base a photo around it. 3. i am actually rather pleased with how the fabric layered on top of itself. i really like all of the texture that it adds.

*my dress is from free people (and it will be making an appearance as my sister's "wedding dress" in some upcoming photos)
