Just an update

I just wanted post a little update to tell you why I haven't added any new photos lately. I've been taking a little time off to collect my thoughts and put some ideas together, which has stretch passed a little time to a lot longer than I had hoped. In the midst of this hiatus, I've found out that I'm moving again. This move will hopefully be for the better. My new place is more spacious, doesn't have the ugly carpet that my current place has and is close to work. In the next few weeks I'll be boxing up and purging a lot of stuff. I'm very excited for the change and hope that it inspires me to take some more pictures.
In the meantime, I'm working on a few little projects here and there just to keep my stress level down. I finished my first dream catcher the other night and am currently in the midst of a crochet project (disaster?).
I hope to more new stuff to write about that's a little more interesting than this.

Living in my head

While I've been taking a break for other things (video games), the mister has been updating his music blog: http://thecassetteclub.wordpress.com
Go read about the new warpaint record.

I'm currently working on some new ideas and procuring props for different projects. However, a recent respiratory infection has delayed me a few days.

Lykanthea

I know I haven't posted a lot lately, but I really wanted to share the lovely music of lykanthea with you guys. Lykanthea is Lakshmi Ramgopal, a Chicago based solo musician. Her music is beautifully haunting and if I weren't writing this on my phone I would have embedded a sample for you to listen to. You can check out her music at http://lykanthea.bandcamp.com
I recently ordered another one of her cassette tapes which comes with a lovely hand made ring.
She's definitely worth checking out.

I should be back next week with some new photos. I've taken a little break to work on sorting and cleaning out closets and to work on a few craft projects.
